Logo Launches LGBT-focused 2016 Election Series With Chelsea Clinton Interview

Today, LOGO announced the launch of it’s LGBT-focused 2016 election coverage with a digital series hosted by celebrated LGBT advocate and social media star, Raymond Braun. The announcement includes Braun’s sit down interview with Chelsea Clinton at the DNC (watch above), which centered on her her parents views on LGBT rights and her role as an ally.

This week, the digital series debuts coverage from on-the-ground at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland featuring interviews with GOP supporters and other activists about their views on LGBT issues. Logo will release additional video episodes from the RNC and was also be on-the-ground at the Democratic National Convention this week. Other episodes will feature key moments throughout the rest of the election cycle.“I’m excited to partner with Logo to shine a spotlight on the issues that matter most to LGBT people and our loved ones and allies,” said Braun. “There are still so many important issues at stake for the LGBT community. This election is critical for our community to continue moving equality important. He also spoke with Supreme Court plaintiffs whose legal cases resulted in the Court passing marriage equality on the ruling’s one year anniversary.

Braun is a media personality, entrepreneur, and LGBT advocate recently named one of the 100 most influential LGBT people in the world on the OUT  100 list, a Forbes 30 Under 30 “All Star,” and one of MTV’s “16 Rising Social Media Stars in 2016.” In Fall 2015, he founded RWB Media, Inc., a consulting company focused on social and LGBT marketing and outreach. Braun was recently on the ground in Orlando with Logo to cover the aftermath of the Pulse nightclub tragedy, and its impact on the LGBT community. As a leading voice in the LGBT media landscape, Raymond has covered a wide variety of LGBT topics, from Houston’s Equal Rights Ordinance to issues impacting transgender youth. In 2015, he reported on the momentum of marriage equality, both in the U.S. and Ireland.
