Sixth annual Kiehl’s LifeRide for amfAR revs into San Diego Aug. 15

Gary Carnivele July 17, 2015

Kiehl’s Since 1851, the New York-based purveyor of fine quality skin and hair care, is gearing up for its 6th annual LifeRide for amfAR — the two-week philanthropic motorcycle ride across several states to raise funds and awareness for AIDS research. The ride will kick off in Denver  Aug. 4, and will travel through Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles before making its last stop at the Kiehl’s store at Fashion Valley in San Diego Aug. 15 for a special finale celebration event.

Kiehl’s President Chris Salgardo and amfAR CEO Kevin Frost will be leading the ride heading to America’s Finest City, and will be joined by celebrity supporters including Vanessa Marcil (90210, Las Vegas) and Gilles Marini (Sex & The City, Brothers & Sisters) — approximately 15 riders total.

The San Diego event is from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. and is open to the public and will consist of meet & greets with the riders, complimentary skincare treatments, hosted bites by Soda & Swine, and healthy sips by Juice Saves. Kiehl’s will be donating $150,000 to amfAR in an official on-site check presentation, and encourages attendees to the event to donate to the organization as well.
