Equality California Endorses Four Dozen Pro-Equality Incumbents in Legislative Races

Equality California today announced the endorsements of 48 incumbent candidates for reelection to the California Senate and Assembly for the 2016 election cycle.“As we move forward with addressing the disparities still facing LGBT Californians in so many areas, our legislative partners are more important to us than ever,” said Equality California Executive Director Rick Zbur. “Today we are announcing Equality California’s endorsements of members of the state legislature who are up for reelection in 2016.  Our partnership with legislators is key to advancing equality and social justice for LGBT people and all the communities of which we’re part.  Our endorsed candidates are not only strong allies in the fight for LGBT equality, but every one of the lawmakers we endorsed today earned a perfect 100-percent Equality Score in our most recent Legislative Scorecard. We thank our endorsed allies and look forward to working with them to continue the fight for LGBT equality and social justice in California.”
