Congregation Ner Shalom Hosts “An Evening With the Riccardis”

Gary Carnivele March 8, 2016

Congragtion Ner Shalom will present “An Evening With the Riccardis” Saturday, March 12 at 85 La Plaza in Cotati.

With over 5 million hits on their YouTube channel, Sandy and Richard Riccardi are one of the Bay Area’s hidden treasures. Their near-genius social satire is so funny you sometimes forget to notice their lavish and precise musicianship. New York’s Cabaret Scenes Magazine writes: From puckish to cynical to contemptuous, they took sharp aim at, among other items, politicians, TV evangelists, Broadway musical wannabes, sexual orientation, and the Twitter explosion…. Together, Sandy and Richard Riccardi made for one hell of a rib-tickling and satisfying cabaret night out.”

This performance, emceed by Irwin Keller, Spiritual Leader of Congregation Ner Shalom and co-founder of the Kinsey Sicks, America’s Favorite Dragapella Beautyshop Quartet, is a benefit for Congregation Ner Shalom. Come. Enjoy. And please be generous.

See them on March 12 at Ner Shalom, 85 La Plaza, Cotati. For tickets – only $25 ($20 for seniors) – call 664-8622. This performance is a benefit for Ner Shalom.
