Gary Carnivele January 19, 2019

Saturday January 26
12-1:30pm
Russian River Senior Center – the Marshall House (in the back)
15010 Armstrong Woods Rd, Guerneville

SUPER excited to see everyone again! We will have our general check in, and then have a discussion / presentation by Tim Johnson (bio below) about Mental Wellness and Self Care issues, and all things related 🙂 PLEASE let me know any specific or general questions or topics you would like him to specifically address. He will be able to talk to us about how to maintain and improve our mental wellness, as well as give us specific resources in our community we can access for support, or just activities we can participate in that promotes mental wellness. Feel free to invite anyone you think would enjoy this discussion. Please send me an email if you can make our meeting so I can estimate how many folks will be there.

Contact me with any question:: Grace Villafuerte GraceV707@gmail.com

Tim Johnson is a licensed marriage and family therapist who works in private practice and as a family consultant for Redwood Caregiver Resource Center, an agency that provides support to those caring for loved ones with dementia and other brain impairments. He has a passion for helping older adults discover in themselves the strength and wisdom that has helped them survive into elderhood, use those discoveries to face sometimes difficult changes in their bodies and lives, and find depth and meaning in the experience. Before his current roles, Tim has worked as a grief counselor for Memorial Hospice and Hospice of Petaluma, and as a clinician for West County Community Service’s Older Adult Counseling program.
