3nd Annual LGBTQI Family Symposium at Social Happens March 30

Mark your calendars and join North Bay LGBTQI Families for a JAM PACKED DAY at the 3nd Annual LGBTQI Family Symposium at Social Advocates for Youth – SAY! A free day of education, advocacy and community building on Saturday, March 30, 2019. This is a family-friendly event for BOTH parents-to-be AND existing LGBTQI families, and those wanting to support and learn. With the generous support from the Sonoma County LGBTQI Giving Circle, we are once again able to bring this conference to our community for FREE! Come for an hour, or stay for the day. We will have free lunch and refreshments as well as free child-care with trained early childhood educators and fabulous special guests! We welcome LGBTQI Youth and Elders looking for community as well!

Like Last year, this year’s event is split into 3 blocks:
BUILD: Family formation options for prospective parents or existing families wanting to expand
PROTECT: Legal considerations for both existing and prospective families
ADVOCATE: Open to the General Public – being a strong advocate to create safe and welcoming schools for our children and LGBTQI youth

ACCOMODATIONS:
Child Care is available – FREE
Child-Friendly Event
Lunch Provided by generous donors
Community Building for LGBTQI+ Families and Prospective Parents
Also appropriate for LGBTQI+ youth, as well as social services, health care providers and teachers serving queer parents and families in the North Bay.
ASL and Spanish Interpretors available upon request
