Auditions Happen May 21 & 22 for A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Musical at Occidental Center for the Arts

AUDITIONS May 21 & 22 for A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Musical – Bohemian Style! Occidental Center for the Arts is proud to present this 60’s’ take on Shakespeare’s classic tale, featuring songs by The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and more! This exciting all ages (8 years and up) community theater production, directed by Starr Hergenrather with musical direction by Miles McKenzie, will be presented in the outdoor amphitheater on July 29 & 30 and August 5 & 6. Auditions on Sunday May 21: Kids 1-2:30 pm; Teens/Adults 3-6 pm. Monday May 22: Kids 4-5:30 pm; T/A 6:30-9 pm.

 Rehearsals begin in June for teens/adults. Kids rehearse in KIDS THEATRE CAMP July 10-13 and 7-20, 9am to Noon. All experience levels welcome! Audition: 1 minute monologue, 1 minute song; any acrobatic, juggling skills, musical instrument if you play, dance skills, etc. Details/ Sign up for audition at www.occidentalcenterforthearts.org.
