From March to May, your local library hosts Computer Basics Workshops, where you’ll learn about the Internet, cybersecurity, email, and files & tools. Discover how to find the information you need online, basic email functions, how to be safer on the Internet, identify scams, save important documents, and more!

Email

Create a Gmail account and learn how to perform basic email functions like send, receive, and reply to an email. Also learn how to organize, delete, and search for emails.

Internet

Learn how to find the information you need online. We will practice the use of search engines and visiting websites.

Cybersecurity

Learn how to be safer online with accounts and passwords, and get an overview of frauds and scams.

Files and Tools

Learn how to navigate library computers using Windows operating system. We will save, find, and delete files and folders.
