the pickPocket ensemble at Occidental Center for the Arts September 27

Saturday, September 27 at 7 pm. the pickPocket ensemble at Occidental Center for the Arts. Inspired by many world musical traditions, the pickPocket ensemble inhabits a country all their own. From the street corner to the concert hall, the pickPocket ensemble has created unique and original contemporary chamber cafe music that one might hear in Bogota, Prague, or Paris. To listen to the pickPocket ensemble is to embark on a journey. Yet for all its wide-ranging inspirations, the pickPocket ensemble’s music remains intensely personal and immediately engaging, an invitation to listen in on an intimate conversation. Don’t miss this world class ensemble as they return to our acoustic sweet spot on Bohemian Highway! 

Tickets are $25 Adv, $20 for OCA members at www.occidentalcenterforthearts.org . All tickets $5 more at the door. OCA is wheelchair accessible. Fine refreshments for sale, art gallery open during intermission. 3850 Doris Murphy Ct. Occidental, CA. 95465. OCA is a community-based non-profit arts organization with volunteer staffing.
