Sonoma Pride Bowling League Kicks Off January 13 – All Are Welcome
As the winter Pride Bowling League season approaches, we wanted to share important upcoming dates and information. During the fall season, our league had 30 teams (a record for Pride bowling). Moving into the winter season, we have 29 returning teams and can increase to 32 teams. Since another league bowls on Tuesday nights, we cannot go beyond 32 total teams.
This will allow the Pride Bowling League to add 3 more teams of 4 bowlers. We also have a few teams that are in need of bowlers. All teams from the fall season are given priority to bowl in the winter season. Teams already signed up for the winter season are listed below (29 in total).
Informational Meeting
Our winter informational and sign-up meeting will be held:
Date/Time: Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 6:30 pm
Location: Double Decker Lanes/Bowlero – in the Lounge/Bar area
Informational Meeting is for:
- Teams that need a bowler (make sure to have a team representative to recruit)
- New bowlers or new teams that want to sign up for the winter session
- Individuals who want to learn about Pride Bowling and may join in the future
If we reach capacity and you are unable to join the winter league, we can add you to the substitute roster, and you will be given priority for open spots during fall sign-ups (August 2026).
Winter Session Details
The winter Session of the Sonoma County Pride Bowling League officially starts:
Date/Time: Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 6:30 pm
Location: Double Decker Lanes/Bowlero
Duration: 15 weeks
Cost: $25 per week – We are a guaranteed league. If you sign up to bowl in the winter session, you are expected to pay $25 each week, even if you are absent. You can pay in advance or $25 per week.
Sanctioning: $25 (one-time). We are a sanctioned league, and all bowlers are required to pay the $25 USBC sanctioning fee to the league secretary by the end of week 2. If you bowled in the fall session, you are already covered and do not owe that again until September.
Averages: If you bowled in the fall session, your average will carry over to the winter session. If you are a new bowler, you will establish an average on the first night of bowling.
If you have any questions, please respond to this email. Have a great weekend, and we look forward to seeing everyone in a few weeks.
