Saturday April 11 at 3 -5 pm: Julio Reyes: Virtuoso Guitar at Occidental Center for the Arts . Co-sponsored by The Redwood Arts Council. Join us at Occidental Center for the Arts for an unforgettable concert with acclaimed guitarist Julio Reyes, whose expressive playing and soulful command of the instrument have captivated audiences around the world. Blending Latin American traditions with contemporary flair, Reyes delivers a performance that is both intimate and electrifying—rich with original compositions, dazzling technique, and heartfelt storytelling through music. Julio will perform compositions by Bach, Barrios, Tarrega, Albeniz, Villa-lobos, Lauro, Jobim, and Heitmeyer. Experience the warmth, precision, and artistry of one of today’s most compelling guitar voices up close in an evening that promises to inspire, uplift, and transport. Tickets are $30, $25 for OCA and RAC members at www.occidentalcenterforthearts.org. Doors open at 2:30 PM. Refreshments available for sale. Art gallery open during intermission.
