Anti-LGBTQ Scamvangelist James Robison Dead At 82
The Christian Post reports:
James Robison, the Texas-based televangelist who founded LIFE Outreach International, died Sunday. No cause of death had been disclosed at the time of the announcement. He was 82. The ministry’s board of directors confirmed the death in a statement posted to social media, saying the mission Robison devoted his life to would continue.
“James devoted his life to sharing the Gospel and bringing hope, help, and healing to those in need around the world,” the board wrote, adding that the organization would press forward with food and clean water programs and broader outreach efforts.
Robison had a life-altering encounter with Jesus at age 14 and was called to be an evangelist at 18. According to his website, more than 20 million people have heard him preach throughout his career in ministry.

Robison, a member of the Trump Evangelical Advisory Council, appeared here in 2020 when he blamed the COVID pandemic on “Satan going ballistic” because of Trump “standing up for what is right.”
Robison has called homosexuality “almost too repulsive to imagine, one of the vilest sins known to man.”
He added, “I’m sick and tired of hearing about all the radicals and the perverts and the liberals and the leftists and the communists coming out of the closet. It’s time for God’s people to come out of the closet, out of the churches, and change America!”
Mike Huckabee, a former employee of Robison, has credited the above-cited speech as the “genesis” for the formation of the Moral Majority. Huckabee’s son is named for Robison.
More recently, there’s this: “It was reported that Robison accompanied Gateway Church Pastor Robert Morris in 1987 to meet the family of the 12-year-old girl Morris had abused over a period of years.”
