Billionaire Philip Anschutz, whose portfolio includes Coachella and London’s O2 Arena, gave more than $1million to anti-LGBT+ causes in 2018, despite previously denying the donations. As of October 2019, the 80-year-old Christian conservative was ranked by Forbes as the 41st richest person in the USA, with a net worth of $11.5billion. A reverend in Ohio revealed a thief has stolen part of his church display honouring the trans people who were killed in 2019. A gay lawyer has said he was fired from the US Department of Education (DoE) because he acted as a whistleblower and leaked anti-trans Trump administration emails. Worldwide Attitudes Towards Lesbians Are more Positive than Gay Men, Study Finds

Around the world, attitudes towards lesbians are more positive that they are towards gay men, according to new research. The study was published in the journal Social Psychology and Personality Science and looked at attitudes towards gay men and lesbian women in 23 countries, “representing both Western and non-Western societies”. The authors of the study analysed Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Peru, Poland, Russia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, and the United States. Study Finds Anti-gay Teasing is the most Common ‘Violent Behavior’ among Teenage Boys

Homophobic teasing is the most common “violent behaviour” among teenage boys, a new study has found. The study, published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine, looked at whether attitudes towards gender equality affected violence in teenage boys.
