Mother Who Sued Daughter for Transitioning Goes to Supreme Court

A Minnesota woman who sued her trans daughter for emancipating herself and transitioning is now taking her case to the Supreme Court. The case has been dragging on now for almost three years since Annmarie Calgaro first sued her daughter, who cannot be named for legal reasons. Calgaro has already been ruled against by a district court and later by a three-judge panel of the 8th US Circuit Court of Appeals in March, according to CNBC. New Bud Light Pride Bottle to Raise Funds for GLAAD

Bud Light has released a limited-edition rainbow coloured aluminium bottle to raise funds for GLAAD to celebrate World Pride. The bottles will be available in bars across the United States during the month of June, and Bud Light will donate $1 to GLAAD for each case sold up to $150,000. 15 LGBT+ Syrian refugees are taking legal action against the UK’s Home Office as they claim that they have been abandoned by the refugee resettlement scheme. The refugees—who live in Turkey—were accepted on the scheme two years ago but have yet to be resettled in the UK. Trans Activists Sue Tennessee for Refusing Gender Change on Birth Certs

Four transgender activists are suing the state of Tennessee over an anti-trans policy that prevents them from changing their gender on birth certificates. A lawsuit was filed on behalf of the transgender activists last week by Lambda Legal in the US District Court in Nashville. JPMorgan Joins Boycott of Sultan’s Hotels over Anti-gay law

Financial services firm JPMorgan Chase has banned staff from booking into Brunei-owned hotels after the country introduced death by stoning for gay people.
