New Group Helps Support School Boards Comply With Law

Today, the Support All Students campaign — including a broad coalition of nearly 100 state and national organizations backing California’s law that ensures all school children have a fair chance to do well — applauds the California School Boards Association’s new model policy to help districts comply with the law. Oscar Party Will Benefit Food For Thought

Food for Thought – Sonoma County AIDS Food Bank will host Oscar Night in Sonoma County Sunday, March 2 at Rialto Cinemas in Sebastopol.  Ticket-holders will watch the 86th Annual Academy Awards live on the big screen, try and predict who the winners will be, and enjoy movie trivia during those commercial breaks.   There will also be a costume contest, so come dressed as your favorite movie character.  General Admission is $25 and doors open at 4:30 p.m. There will be a VIP Pre-Party, which will begin at 3:30 p.m. with your exit from the limo captured in a photo […]
