Changing of the Guard at Positive Images

Javi Rosales December 1, 2017

Seven years ago I made the decision to change the direction of my life. I moved to Sonoma County to continue my education at the Santa Rosa Junior College and eventually earned my degree from Sonoma State University. I’m grateful to all of you in Sonoma County who have helped to make this my home.

For the last five years it has been a blessing to be involved with Positive Images (PI). I have seen the powerful and positive influence this organization has on the community as a whole. More importantly the people I have come to know and love have helped me become the leader that I am today.

As some of you already know I am closing my chapter with PI and moving back to San Francisco where my next adventure awaits. This decision has been difficult, but the support from all of you has made it possible.

It is with great pleasure and immense gratitude I introduce Jessica Carroll to the Positive Images family. I’ve been working with Jessica for the past 4 weeks, and I am astounded by how wonderful she is. Dedicated, hardworking, loving, compassionate, determined, positive, and intelligent are just a few of her great attributes. Her humor is very similar to mine and our style of dress is oddly identical. Jessica was born and raised in Santa Rosa and has lived in Roseland most of her life. She plays rugby and loves to dance, even in the most unexpected times. Honestly, I think we are twins separated at birth, but I have only our similarities as proof. I am confident that with Jessica’s leadership, PI will continue to grow and thrive. Please help me in welcoming PI’s new Director, Jessica Carroll!

Warm Regards,

Javi
