Stardust Cabaret at Occidental Center for the Arts November 24

Gary Carnivele November 18, 2024

SUNDAY November 24 @ 4 pm: Stardust, A Cabaret at Occidental Center for the Arts.

Enjoy a late afternoon cabaret-style performance featuring vocalists Andrea Van Dyke and Leah Van Dyke, along with the Trimates : John Simon, Kendrick Freeman and Tom Shader. The ensemble will be offering classic jazz and pop standards with a dash of Broadway, blues, and bossa; sprinkled with levity and a touch of nostalgia.

Modeled after the very first cabaret performance in OCA’s newly remodeled auditorium in August of 2006, produced by Marylu Downing and featuring Andrea and Leah Van Dyke, Steve Fowler, and John Simon on piano, ‘Stardust’ is an affectionate tribute to the enduring power of music and the arts to sustain and support us in good times and bad.

Tickets are $25 GA/$20 for OCA Members at www.occidentalcenterforthearts.org; $5 additional at the door.

Fine refreshments for sale, art gallery open, wheelchair accessible. 3850 Doris Murphy Ct. Occidental, CA. 95465. 707-874-9392.
