As Pride Month begins across Tennessee, the state’s recent designation of June as “Nuclear Family Month” is drawing renewed attention. On Monday, Tenn. Representative Andy Ogles posted on X: “Homosexuality has no place in America. Happy Nuclear Family Month.”

In March 2026, Ogles earned criticism from all sides after posting that “Muslims don’t belong in American society.”
Ogles last appeared here when he called for executing former Rep. Eric Swalwell and when he filed a bill to lower flags on Good Friday because “Christ is king of America.”
Ogles, an avowed “Christian supremacist,” recently appeared here when he depicted himself as a Medieval crusader against Muslims.
In March, Ogles called for deporting all Muslims from the United States regardless of citizenship status, including NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani.
In February, Ogles demanded a federal investigation into the NFL and NBC for “explicit gay sex acts and glorifying sodomy” during the Super Bowl halftime show.
Ogles has filed House resolutions calling for Trump to be added to added to Mount Rushmore and for Trump to have a third term.
Shortly after being elected, Ogles was exposing for lying about his work history and education, drawing comparisons to George Santos.
