Only Half of US Cancer Doctors Have Good Knowledge of LGBTI Patient Needs
According to a new report, half of cancer doctors in the United States are unprepared to adress and treat the specific needs of their LGBTI patients. The report was published by several authors in the Journal of Clinical Oncology. As it explains, the purpose of the report is to ‘identify potential gaps in attitudes, knowledge, and institutional practices toward LGBTQ patients’.
