Pulse Shooter Father Unmasked as ‘FBI Informant’

The trial of the wife of Pulse shooter Omar Mateen has taken a dramatic twist – after it emerged that Mateen’s father was an FBI informant. Forty-nine people died at Orlando’s Pulse gay club during a horrific mass shooting in June 2016, when Omar Mateen, who had pledged support for ISIS, opened fire at the crowd. California Sues Trump Administration Over Census Citizenship Question

California quickly filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration after the Commerce Department announced that the 2020 census would ask people whether they were U.S. citizens. Same-sex Marriages Are Less Likely to Break Up Than Straight Ones, Study Reveals

Gay marriages are the least likely to end, a new study has shown. Two men who get hitched in the US have better odds of making it than their counterparts in lesbian and straight marriages, according to research by the Williams Institute at the UCLA School of Law.  The study, which tracked more than 500 couples in Vermont over the course of 12 years, also revealed that women in same-sex marriages were the most likely to break up. Mike Pence’s Home Town to Host its First Pride Festival

The hometown of anti-gay Vice President Mike Pence will host its first ever Pride festival in an effort to distance themselves from the former governor. SCR 110 Calls on the Medical Community to Delay Nonconsensual and Irreparably Harmful Surgeries Until the Individual Reaches Age of Informed Consent

On March 6 Senator Scott Wiener (D-San Francisco) announced the introduction of a resolution that will put California at the forefront in supporting intersex individuals and their families. Senate Concurrent Resolution 110 calls on the medical community to stop performing nonconsensual and often irreparably harmful sex assignment and genital “normalization” surgeries on intersex infants at birth.  Instead, medically unnecessary surgery should be delayed until the intersex individual can decide for themselves whether to pursue surgery at all, at an age when informed consent is possible. AEG Chairman Phil Anschutz Donates $1 Million to Elton John AIDS Foundation

  Phil Anschutz, chairman of the live music giant Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG), has taken no small amount of criticism since it was revealed that his private family foundation had donated to organizations with anti-LGBT agendas. But today the Elton John AIDS Foundation announced that Anschutz has donated $1 million dollars to support its LGBT Fund.
